KROMA™ is a four-in-one system – camera, microscope, colorimeter and computer – the integration making it easy and seamless to operate. KROMA™ becomes ‘intelligent’ when connected to cloud-based AI-applications, empowering Users with the tool and knowledge to assess gemstone quality.

Images and 3D-videos of gemstone appearance and inclusions, scanned using KROMA™, are uploaded onto the secured cloud-based repository, myGemVAULT™ and analysed using AI-models to grade gemstone such as colour or to detect treatment. Images and 3D-videos are encrypted using public-private keys (PKI) to ensure authenticity and integrity.

KROMA™’s scans of gemstones deliver high-resolution 3D-videos of its appearance and microscopic inclusion details, for both cut and rough gemstones. Gem3D™ is suitable for visual marketing, aids the cutter to optimise his cut-plan and traders to detect treatment and geographical origin when used in conjunction with GemLUX® AI-powered application.

This digitally signed and encrypted report is the immutable digital twin of the gemstone, used for authentication and provenance tracking. It comprises of the gemstone’s profile, images of its appearance and microscopic inclusion details and its unique GemCIPHER™ fingerprint, generated using AI. Validation and matching of the fingerprint is performed using KROMA™.
